I just scrub-a-dub-dubbed and I feel like a million bucks.

Dry brushing is a traditional Ayurvedic dry massage that feels incredible and is incredibly healthy. It’s known for cleansing the lymphatic system {the only system in the body without a pump so stimulation is the only way to get it moving!} and for removing cellular waste {whatever that means exactly, fuck yes!}. It’s meant to be done dry…buuut since I’m lazy and my dry brush always just hangs on the back of my bathroom door, I take it into the shower with me and do me, ya know?

I just add a little Dr. Bronners to the wet dry brush, lather it up and scrub my entire body, I start with my toes and then my fingers, working my way up in circular motions towards the heart. I get the bottoms of my feet, in between my bum cheeks, on my bikini line, under arms, gently on my chest…everywhere!!

It’s not the traditional way but this still stimulates the bod and removes dead skin from the surface, it’s self-care to the max! Give it a try, you can thank me later ;-).
